Term three in rm10
This term we are taking part in the school dodge ball tournament; we have practised hard and intensely and have a pretty good chance at beating some of the other classes. This term we have also taken part in the KOS (Keeping Ourselves Safe) program we have learnt a lot about different types of abuse like emotional and physical abuse we have also learnt about what to do if it happens to us. Such as, talking to a counsellor, calling the police or kids line or telling someone else you trust about it so that they can help put a stop to it. Abuse is also NEVER the victims fault.
In maths we have worked on fractions, ratios and percentages and have done our PAT tests. As a class we are reading the novel "Tomorrow When the War Began” by John Marsden. Miss Siefe said that we might be going to see the movie when it comes out in the movie theatre, depending on the rating. We have the Tawa Intermediate Open Night on Thursday and a disco coming up in week 8.
Over all we've had a great start to the term let’s hope the rest of it goes well!
