Room 10

On Monday the 6th of September room ten slowly wondered down to Tawa swimming pool with our swimming bags hung over our shoulders. When we got to the entrance we gathered together and were told the safety regulations and the plan for the following hour. We excitedly got changed into our togs until we were told by the instructors to hop in to the pool. We all scrambled in, the boys in one lane and the girls in another. The instructor got us to warm up by swimming a few lengths of various strokes, and before long our names were listed and the two instructors were jotting down which group we should be put in, on account of the way we were swimming. It was quite a short lesson and after doing one last length of freestyle, we had to hop out. We slowly got dressed but before we left the changing room we found out that someone had forgotten there underwear! I’m pretty sure we all had a great time but maybe there was one unfortunate person!
